WINTER PACK

Alpine skis, ice skates and a snowboard in one resource. Air tricks, spins, Christmas tuning, open source.

Three rideable winter vehicles, one folder, one config. The gear is really on your character: boots on the feet, poles in the hands, a board under you. Stride, carve, jump, spin in the air and land a trick.

THE 3 VEHICLES

- Alpine skis: boots and poles, a stride with a pole planted at each push, a wedge to brake, a tuck going down fast

- Ice skates: a true skating stride, each leg pushing out on its edge, the arms swinging

- Snowboard: across the board with boots in the bindings, pumps for speed, toe side and heel side turns

RIDING

- W moves, S brakes, A / D turn, the rider leans into the turns

- Let go of W to glide, lower at speed

- 50 km/h top speed on the flat and downhill, changed in one line of the config

- W takes gravity away going up, so slopes do not stop you

- On the skis, S brakes hard on any slope and holds you still on it

- A ground guard keeps you out of the map

JUMP AND AIR TRICKS

- Space jumps about 3.7 m high

- A / D spin you in the air: your line does not move and you land straight on it

- 12 tricks on the arrow keys, 4 per vehicle, in the air only:

Skis: Backflip, Iron cross, Daffy, Safety grab

Ice skates: Double axel, Backflip, Split, Arabesque

Snowboard: Backflip, Method air, Nose grab, Wildcat

- Every player picks their own keys in the FiveM settings, a gamepad jumps with its handbrake button

COLOURS

- Paint picks the gear: it takes the nearest of 8 colours, custom colours included

- Skis: primary paint on the skis, secondary on the boots

- Ice skates: primary paint on the skates

- Snowboard: primary paint on the board, secondary on the boots and bindings

- 2 liveries on the skis and the snowboard: VAG and Christmas

CHRISTMAS TUNING (LOS SANTOS CUSTOMS)

27 parts, 9 per vehicle, fitted at the mechanic like any other tuning part: Christmas trees and lit trees, LED garlands, gold and red tinsel, candy canes, holly, gift boxes, fur cuffs and jingle bells.

ITEM OR COMMAND

- 3 usable items: use one to put the gear on, use it again to take it off. They are not consumed

- Chat commands /skis, /iceskates and /snowboard, with or without the item

- Also works on any vehicle of these models from a spawn menu or a garage

- Ready-to-paste items for ox_inventory, QBCore and ESX, with the inventory icons

OPTIMIZED

- The gear is made of client-side props: no extra networked entity

- Gear only for vehicles within 150 m, 2 levels of detail on every prop

- Models stay in memory only while a vehicle is in sight

- The per frame code only runs for the rider, no server loop

COMPATIBILITY

ESX, QBCore, Qbox and standalone, with or without ox_inventory: pick yours in config.lua.

Spawn names: vag_skis, vag_skates, vag_snowboard

OPEN SOURCE

No escrow. You get the full Lua, the config and the stream files (.yft / .ydr / .ytd / .ycd / .ytyp).

CONFIGURATION

One config.lua: framework, top speed, jump, spin and gear range for the three, then items, commands, tricks, mountain help, default colours and mechanic labels per vehicle. Any shared setting can be set again for one vehicle only.

INSTALLATION

Drop vag_winter into your resources and add "ensure vag_winter" to your server.cfg after your framework and inventory. Add the items from the install folder. The full guide is in README.md.
