POLICE TAPE - FIVEM SCRIPT
Scene tape for Police, Sheriff, FIB, EMS and LSFD. Synced, optimized, open source.

Close off a crime scene, a crash or a fire in a few seconds. Take the dispenser, place your posts and the tape is strung between them for everyone on the server. Each service has its own tape and its own handheld dispenser.

TAPE TYPES
- Police: POLICE LINE - DO NOT CROSS
- Sheriff: SHERIFF'S LINE - DO NOT CROSS
- FIB: FIB CRIME SCENE - DO NOT CROSS
- EMS: MEDICAL SCENE - DO NOT CROSS
- LSFD: FIRE LINE - DO NOT CROSS

FEATURES
- Multi-point tape: chain up to 8 points, snap to other tapes, attach to walls and poles
- Adjustable height, natural sag, thin post under every ground point
- The tape moves in the wind and sways more when the weather is windy
- Handheld dispenser while placing, one model per tape type, seen by every nearby player
- The player who placed a tape removes it with E, staff clear an area with /cleartapes
- Vehicles driving through a tape at speed break it (per type, per vehicle class)
- Optional ox_target / qb-target "Remove tape" on the posts
- Commands, keybinds, events, exports and usable items
- Job, grade, on-duty and ACE permissions per tape type, or open to everyone
- Optional JSON persistence, lifetime and Discord webhook logs
- 7 languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch

OPTIMIZED
- Tapes and posts are drawn client-side: no entity per tape, nothing left behind
- Far tapes are culled, only nearby tapes move in the wind
- The server keeps a plain table and sends small add / remove messages, with no server loop
- Every request is checked server-side: placement session, permissions, limits, cooldown, distance (OneSync) and data

COMPATIBILITY
ESX, QBCore, Qbox and standalone, auto-detected. ox_lib menu and notifications, ox_inventory, ESX and QBCore inventories, ox_target and qb-target are used when they are running.

OPEN SOURCE
No escrow. You get the full Lua, the config with every text, and the stream files (.ydr / .ytd / .ytyp).

INSTALLATION
Drop tape_police into your resources and add "ensure tape_police" to your server.cfg after your framework, inventory and target. Set your language and job names in config.lua. The full guide is in README.md.
